FIR TREE & HAMMER

This is a blog about my cabin.

Built in the late 1700s, it was cut from straight tall fir
trees and chinked with moss and tarred weeds.

Through the years its shelter has surely been borrowed by many -
births and passings, spring cleanings, families huddling together
throughout the coldest of nights.

I carry the key now. And this is my humble attempt to restore and uphold.
